This fabric was upcycled from a very large shift dress and what really caught my eye was the print and colors - which are soft and luscious. I wanted the dress to also have a soft look to it and by rouching the fabric and then attaching it to the bodice - gave it a "soft" look. The undergarment is a vintage slip and it comes thru very nicely. I absolutely love, love this dress. So perfect for Spring andSummer. The center rose is a vintage doiley.
